Today was the day we checked out of Doc Justins Diamond RV Park. We went to Yuma Arizona, where we will get outside window shades for the motorhome. We arrived without incident at Del Pueblo RV Resort. This is a very nice park. It has a lot of nice amenities including tennis. We are not tennis players, but there are 2 pools and many activities to enjoy.
We enjoy our travel days as much as reaching our destination. Since the terrain is so different from the northeast, there's plenty for us to see. We are in awe of the mountains here, as some of them are totally without trees. We also saw many saguaros on the way here. They did not look as good as some of them in the National Park, but it was interesting nevertheless.
We finally saw some real desert with very little vegetation. The desert near Tucson is full of small trees and many cactus. Here there was noticably less vegetation. I tried to get some pictures as we were moving. So if you see reflections on our pictures, I was taking them out of the window as we were moving.
